According to an article in a recent issue of “Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report,” a publication of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, five services are offered more often by assisted living communities than by adult day services centers.
When an adult day care center is added to an assisted living community, the best of both facilities are available. Clients participating in the adult day programs have access to services and programs that may not be available in a stand-alone adult day care center. Assisted Living Community residents have access to new socialization opportunities and added programming.
In my experience, adding an adult day care to an assisted living community is a seamless process with the right knowledge. If you would like to discuss adding an adult day care to your assisted living community, please feel free to email me at email@example.com
