Mrs. Carvajal entered the senior living space with a mission of providing excellent care and has proven her thesis that better care and better resident outcomes also enhance profitability for property owners. Over her career, Mrs. Carvajal has served the middle and fixed-income senior. Mrs. Carvajal demonstrates excellence in using the Medicaid program to subsidize services for fixed-income seniors. She has continued to care for this population in large part and is looking to innovative ways to continue to service them and baby boomers in the future. Profits with a conscience is Innovation Senior Living’s core tenet and that tenet continues to drive the growth of her company.

Prior to joining Innovations Senior Living, Julia was a Regional Director for a regional owner operator. Mrs. Santeliz effectively managed their facilities that included assisted living and memory care under the specialized licenses of LNS and ECC. She also oversaw sales and marketing, operations, accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, HR, IT, and regulatory compliance. Prior to her regional position, Mrs. Santeliz was a principal at the Brickell Key Group, a senior housing advisory and consulting firm focused on startup operations, acquisitions, and turnarounds.
Mrs. Santeliz holds an Executive Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management & Policy from the University of Miami as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration from Dallas Baptist University. She is a Nationally Certified Executive Director (CDAL) with Executive Director/Administrator licenses in Florida and Texas. She is proficient in English and Spanish and has a basic command of Portuguese.
